WHERE IS LUMI MADE?
Lumi is manufactured here in Australia using a combination of Australian fruit juices and purees, blended with some imported ingredients such as natural flavors and stabilising blend to give it it’s delicious creamy texture.
WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT MADE FROM?
Lumi is made from a blend of reconstituted fruit juices and puree. At least 90% of the content comes from fruit. The last 10% is a blend of de-ionised fruit juices, a natural vegetable gum which holds the product together, plus natural colors & flavors.
HOW IS LUMI SO CREAMY?
Lumi contains no fat and no dairy, although resembles the consistency of soft serve ice cream. The combination of the recipe and the specific dispensing machine creates this wonderfully, creamy taste and texture. The product has 80% overrun (a ratio calculating air content) which is why it tastes so light.
IS LUMI DAIRY FREE?
Yes – There is no dairy content in the ingredients that make up LUMI
IS LUMI GLUTEN FREE?
Yes – There is no gluten content in the ingredients that make up Lumi
IS LUMI 99% FAT FREE?
Yes – Nutritional analysis indicates total fat content is less than 0.1g/100g of product.
DOES THE PRODUCT CONTAIN ANY ALLERGENS?
No – To mitigate the risk of cross contamination in the manufacturing process we have implemented a validated allergen management program.
IS LUMI SUITABLE FOR VEGANS/VEGETARIANS?
Yes – Lumi doesn’t contain any food products produced by animals such as milk, eggs, honey or meat.
IS LUMI HALAL & KOSHER?
Yes – Lumi is both Halal and Kosher certified
IS LUMI LACTOSE FREE?
Yes – Lumi does not contain any dairy and is therfore lactose free
DOES LUMI CONTAIN ARTIFICIAL COLORS OR FLAVORS?
No – LUMI does not contain artificial colors or flavors
WHAT IS THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN FOR THE VEGETABLE GUMS?
The various vegetable gums in the stabilizer blend come from a number of countries and blended here in Australia. The Vegetable gum can be classed as “Made in Australia” but from imported ingredients. The countries that supply the vegetable gum components are China, France, India, Philippines, Netherlands
WHAT IS THE VEGETABLE GUM USED FOR?
The vegetable gums act as a stabilizer in the product helping to reduce the speed of melting and allowing the product to be served as a swirl.
WHAT IS A BEVERAGE POWDER?
LUMI beverage powders are a dry powder range of products, that when mixed with water or milk create a gourmet beverage with the look, feel and taste of a premium beverage.
HOW DO I PREPARE LUMI BLENDED BEVERAGES?
LUMI blended beverage range is extremely versatile in the ways in which it is prepared being hot, blended, as a slushie, or over ice.
Do you have a non Dairy option?
For cold beverages 80g of beverage powder which is 5 tablespoons.
For hot beverages 40g of beverage powder is needed which is 2.5 tablespoons.

Yes we do, our Plant Based Frappe Blend and our Indulgent Drinking Chocolate do not contain milk products, however they are both made in plant that does.
Can I pre-make the beverage and store it?
You can use a granita/slush machine to keep LUMI beverages.
Do you have a protein based beverage powder?
Unfortunately we do not offer a protein beverage powder, however you may find a recipe with protein in the Recipe link.
Do I need to add milk during the preparation? and water to every base?
No. You do not need to add milk to the product. It varies from product to product on which liquid you add.
How long can I store product?
For the best results keep product that has been opened in air tight container.
Do the bases have an expiry date?
LUMI product range has 12 to 18 month shelf life. Please check each product for variations.
How do I flavor the plain bases?
Flavoring the plain bases is the easiest way to add more creativity to your selection. You can use toppings, syrups, flavorings, fruits, nuts, and much more.

I am a business, can I buy directly from LUMI?
If you are looking for customer packaging and blends and have larger minimum orders we may be able to help. If you are wanting smaller quantities please contact one of our distributors.
Is there a minimum order for products?
There is no minimum order quantity. LUMI blended beverages come in a 4k carton. Many of our distributors also sell the pillow packs individually.
What are the Sales & Marketing claims on the product?
LUMI's blended beverage range offers a range of marketing claims. No artificial colors or sweeteners, most are gluten free, non trans-fat, no preservatives, probiotics, manufactured in Australia and premium blend. Not all blends have the same claims so you are best to check the individual products.
Are these products Halal certified?
Yes, LUMI blended beverage products are all Halal certified.
Can I have the range with my own brand on the packaging?
Yes, the products are available with your own brand packaging.
What equipment do I need?
LUMI is very diverse in ways of preparation, You can prepare the beverages in a blender, granita machine, or straight in a cup. We sell blenders and slush machines on our shop page!
